2024 9K for Semper K9: Supporting Our Heroes, Transforming Lives

Join us on November 10, 2024, at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg for an unforgettable event that celebrates our American heroes and their life-saving mission. The 9K for Semper K9 is more than just a race; it’s a symbol of unity, compassion, and support for our disabled veterans.

🌟 Event Details:

  • Packet Pickup: Rae Day starting at 8:15 am

🏃‍♂️ Race Information:

  • Lace-up your shoes and get ready to run or walk in our community-friendly 9K event.
  • All fitness levels are welcome! Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or prefer a leisurely stroll, this event is for you.
  • Bring the whole family, including furry friends! Walkers and strollers are encouraged to join in the fun.

🏅 Participant Benefits:

  • The first 100 registrants will receive our exclusive custom “9K for Semper K9” race medals.
  • All participants will receive a finisher medal, proudly displaying their support for our veterans.
  • 9K participants will also receive an event t-shirt.
  • Professionally Timed event.
  • Prizes for race winners.

Kids’ Fun Run:

  • Little ones can take part in their very own .9 Mile Fun Run, starting at 9:30 am.

📍 Location Details:

  • Old Mill Park is our start/finish line with the course on Canal Path, a picturesque backdrop for our event, surrounded by natural beauty along the Rappahannock River in downtown Fredericksburg.

By participating in the 9K for Semper K9, you’re helping us continue our mission of providing service dogs to disabled American veterans, transforming their lives in profound ways.

 

Fundraise for Incentives:

*Each athlete who raises $100 will receive a Semper K9 challenge coin!

*The top ten individual fundraisers will win a swag bag full of exclusive Semper K9 gear & a $50 gift certificate to the Semper K9 Merch Shop!

*Top individual & team fundraisers will win a trophy & have a 10×10 Brick of Honor placed at Semper K9 with their name included.

*Additional fundraising challenges to win prizes included starting in September!
